Johnson City Schools retained TWA to complete an assessment and feasibility study to transition from a grade 5 & 6 intermediate school (Indian Trail) and a grade 7 & 8 middle school (Liberty Bell) to two grade 5 through 8 middle schools. TWA was tasked with evaluating the current facilities and providing recommendations on how to provide "equal" program, facilities, and amenities at each middle school, concentrating on science classrooms, athletic facilities, and storage areas. The resulting report offered multi-phased recommendations and visual representation of scope considering student capacity, parkting & traffic patterns, scheduling, cost, etc.
