As part of several capital developments at the stadium where the Johnson City Cardinals call home, Boyd Sports contacted TWA to design a two-level beer garden. Affectionately called “The Perch,” this facility features an open air concessions building and two deck levels with drink rails and patio seating expertly situated along the third base line with an unobstructed view of home plate. The Perch’s addition is one of the many reasons TVA Credit Union Ballpark was awarded the “2016 Best Ballpark Improvement (Under $1 million)” and the “Best of the Ballparks 2017, Rookie” titles by Ballpark Digest and is accredited as a catalyst for increasing the current fan base by creating a high-demand hospitality area.
