The ETSU Downtown Day Center & Clinic was the product of grant funding to provide personal development resources and lab and mental health services to an expanding downtown population. As part of the grant, LEED certification guidelines were implemented in the design. Elements such as site and building orientation, materiality, day-lighting, and conservative MEP components were all considered.
