Johnson City Outpatient Diagnostic Center’s new convenient location features state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging and clinical health. The exterior of the facility boasts an expansive covered drop-off drive and a unique mix of materials highlighting entry points and glazing. The sunshades not only provide practical solar control to the main lobby, but also provide interesting texture to the exterior facade. Designed and built in the height of the COVID pandemic at a time when health and safety was at the forefront of our community’s lives, the TWA team purposefully incorporated long, open and airy corridors in the main lobby with pops of color to breathe life into this sleek modern healthcare facility and those who fill it. The design balances the necessity of imaging, diagnostic, labratory and physical therapy equipment with thoughtful design elements that foster a sense of calm and comfort. With an empasis on physical safety and wellbeing, sustainable materials with reduced off-gassing properties and increased slip resistance and cleanability were used throughout.
